Bavarian students come to Trinity

24 March 2010
We have recently welcomed a group from the German Lutheran Church in Bavaria who came to Trinity as part of a link with the Bristol Diocese.
Fourteen students and staff from the Augustana Hochschule in Neuendettelsau near Nuremberg came to Trinity for a few days. They attended lectures, talked about their theological education, heard about ours, led a service in chapel, and enjoyed informal meals and local visits.
Last Easter a group from Trinity visited Bavaria and enjoyed experiencing theological education in the Lutheran Church. (You can read about their visit in our summer 2009 newsletter.)
The photo shows the German group as they prepare to leave, with their hosts and some of theTrinity students who went to Bavaria last year.
