Trinity College Conference Centre: venue hire

Set in nine acres of grounds in an attractive part of Bristol, Trinity College provides a peaceful setting for residential and non-residential conferences and room hire. Its main building, dating from the seventeenth century, is one of Bristol's well-known historic houses.

Meeting rooms

Three lecture rooms, a number of seminar rooms and a new board room can accommodate groups of various sizes; TV/video, an overhead projector, and data projection equipment are available. The main chapel seats up to 135 people and is suitable for worship or lectures. The small Oak Chapel is available for private prayer.

There are several comfortable lounges which can be booked by those requiring a more informal setting for their meeting. Guests are welcome to read in the college library and stroll in our grounds, where there is ample car parking for visitors.

Catering

Trinity College has a modern kitchen and a light and spacious dining room, seating up to 100 conference guests. Buffet refreshments can be served to larger groups. Catering can be arranged to suit the requirements of your conference. Our staff will be happy to provide for special dietary needs. Details are in the brochure.

Residential conferences

Residential conferences may be booked during the Easter and Summer vacations (usually from the middle of March until the middle of April, and from mid-June until the beginning of September). We can accommodate up to 55 resident guests during the vacations. It is sometimes possible to accommodate small groups (up to 15) at other times of the year.

Most guests are accommodated in single rooms with wash basins, though a few twin rooms are also available. Bath and shower facilities are close by. A bedroom with ensuite shower room suitable for a wheelchair user is available. Bedding and towels are provided. Guests have the use of their own kitchen, comfortable lounge and smaller TV room.

Photocopying, telephone and computer facilities with internet access can be provided. Our friendly staff are on hand to assist guests throughout their stay.

Location

Trinity College is situated on the north-western edge of Bristol, convenient for both the motorway system and the city centre. There is on-site parking. The beautiful Downs are only a few minutes' walk away.
