Diploma in Theology
The Diploma is an award that is approved for ordinands by the Ministry Division of the Church of England and is also an excellent ministerial training programme in its own right for students from other denominations. It can be completed in two years full time or three to four years part time and involves the accumulation of a total of 240 credits at Levels 1 and 2 (see Study unit details).
Students have some flexibility in choosing from among the available study units, but they must conform to a balance of units chosen from among the available subject areas to ensure an appropriate breadth of study. Ordinands must fulfil Ministry Division requirements for ordination training.
