D11002  Following Jesus: Introducing Christian Discipleship

This unit will explore

1 what it means to be a disciple of Jesus today by providing an introduction to Christian ethics and spirituality with a particular focus on themes related to the Sermon on the Mount
2 traditional spiritual disciplines (such as prayer and giving)
3 the spirituality of life together (including coping with conflict)
4 principles of Christian moral reasoning and some key contemporary ethical debates.

10 credits
