Why come to Trinity?

Hi! I am George Kovoor and I look forward to welcoming you to Trinity College. Trinity is a world-class evangelical theological college, located in the beautiful city of Bristol with its great academic traditions. We are affiliated to the University of Bristol, which is a premier UK university with a notable reputation as a leading research-active institution. We aim to prepare God’s people for mission and ministry so that the body of Christ is built up and local communities are transformed by the gospel.

Trinity is a great place to work and study. We have an outstanding teaching faculty including internationally recognised scholars with many publications to their names, and with extensive experience in forward-looking mission and ministry.

Trinity College is passionately committed to:

Jesus and mission

Our calling is to be disciples of Jesus, walking with him, learning from him, living in the power of his Holy Spirit, and taking forward his mission to the world. I come from India and see myself as a missionary to Britain: I want to see Britain and Europe come back to Christ. The future is definitely mission.

Our Context-based Training is one of the unique aspects of Trinity with its focus on servant leadership, integral mission, and pioneer training in the context of planting, growing and renewing churches.

The Bible

We have a strong team of Bible scholars. Our ambition is that our students learn God's Word, love God’s Word, and live God's Word. We want them to understand the authority of the Bible, to teach it well, and to apply it in ways that are relevant today.

Spirit and worship

Trinitarian worship is at the heart of our community; it is rich and varied. We welcome the Holy Spirit and desire the fruit of the Spirit and the exercise of spiritual gifts. We wish to learn from the different traditions within the worldwide body of Christ. We are a diverse international community.

I am excited about what God is doing among us. I hope you will be excited too, as you explore our website. Do come and visit us. You will get a wonderful welcome and sense the incredible buzz here.
