Gospel in Action

Several times a term we meet for a 'Gospel in Action' session which provides an opportunity to hear a speaker, usually from outside the college, talk about a practical mission topic from anywhere in the world.

This may be about (to take a few recent examples) a housing estate in an urban priority area in this country, 'signs of grace in a dry area' in Zimbabwe,  efforts being made to preserve the planet, Christian work in war-torn Burundi, help for those with addictive behaviour, or the role of a prison chaplain.

GIA helps us to take wider, practical look at current issues, controversial issues, and international issues.

Gospel in Action is part of our 'Trinity Together' programme on Fridays, when we join for community for activities which may also take the form of Bible expositions, open forums on important issues, or updates on college news over coffee.
