Trinity gains highest ASIC accreditation

3 June 2009

Trinity has been given the highest rating of Premier College by Accreditation Service for International Colleges (ASIC) and was described as ‘absolutely brilliant', ‘one of ASIC's best colleges'.

The accreditation is necessary as part of the recent government regulations which stipulate that any educational institution admitting non-EU students must receive official approval. The two-day inspection covered topics such as admission procedures, teaching quality and assessment, management and staff resources, health and safety and student welfare. This accreditation now allows the college to make an application to the Home Office for a sponsor's licence.

Many of Trinity's international students come to study for master's or doctoral degrees. At present we have 15 countries represented apart from the UK.
