Trinity College Day Nursery
Trinity College has its own Ofsted-registered Day Nursery in the grounds, with well qualified professional staff. It was established for children of Trinity students, but has places available for families from the local community.
We aim to provide a happy and stimulating environment for the children where they can feel at home. We are also able to provide for special educational needs and have skills in welcoming children whose first language is not English.
We have two units: Ladybirds (3 months to 2 years) and Busy Bees (2 to 4 years). Both are managed by separate teams who are focused on providing the best care for that age group, and they follow the Early Years Foundation Curriculum, which helps children to grow in confidence, build positive relationships and begin to develop skills for later learning.
We also have two outdoor play spaces, as well as the college grounds, which the older children use frequently throughout the day. The nursery is small and retains a homely feel.
Applications will be considered at any point during the year. Places are subject to availability. Priority will be given to siblings of children already attending the Nursery. Remaining places will be allocated on a ‘first-come-first-served' basis.
Children of full-time members of the college can attend at greatly subsidised fees and Nursery Education Grants can also be claimed through the nursery.
