International students

International students, their spouses and families enrich the Trinity community. They contribute to the cultural diversity of Trinity College, bringing different experiences of church life and of mission and evangelism.

We have a welcome programme for international students and there is a hosting committee which makes special arrangements for them as required, including a 'buddy' system. They have their own International Students' Representative.  We also have an International Chaplain.

From time to time we have an 'international week' in chapel, using liturgies and forms of worship from different churches and countries.

For those who do not have English as their first language, we offer specialised English-language support to individuals from Mrs Mel Lucas, a qualified language teacher and IELTS examiner. We also hold group seminars that aim to help you with study and language skills for your theological studies in the UK.

It is not easy to study in another language, in another educational system, far from home. We hope that our international students will feel they are welcome guests at Trinity, and that their stay and studies here will be profoundly helpful for their future life and ministry.

Trinity College is accredited as a Premier College by ASIC (Accreditation Service for International Colleges).
