Lord Mayor of Bristol visits Trinity

We were glad to welcome to Trinity the Lord Mayor of Bristol, Councillor Christopher Davies, and the Lady Mayoress, Mrs Sue Davies. They came at the invitation of George Kovoor to have lunch in college and to meet students and staff. They are both Bristol people; the Lord Mayor worked in the police service (Bristol Port Police) for many years and the Lady Mayoress at Bristol City Council in the finance department.
The role of the Lord Mayor of Bristol is to promote the city and to support local organisations. Trinity is keen to contribute to the life of our city and to maintain close links with the local community and its activities.
In the photo the Lord and Lady Mayoress can be seen in the dining room with some of our students including the four from Africa.
