Mike Goheen

Mike Goheen is a Canadian living on the west coast of Canada in Vancouver, British Columbia. He currently holds the Geneva Chair of Worldview and Religious Studies at Trinity Western University, Langley, British Columbia. He is also Teaching Fellow in Mission Studies at Regent College, Vancouver, Fellow at the Paideia Centre for Public Theology, Ancaster, Ontario, and part-time minister of preaching at New West Christian Reformed Church, Burnaby, British Columbia.

Previously he taught for eleven years in the areas of worldview, mission, and biblical theology at Redeemer University College, Ancaster, Ontario. He received his doctorate at the University of Utecht, Netherlands with a dissertation on Lesslie Newbigin's missionary ecclesiology. He was ordained in the Presbyterian Church in America in 1985 and spent the first seven years of his professional life as a church planter and then pastor. He transferred his ministerial credentials to the Christian Reformed Church in 1999 and has worked as a minister of preaching in two churches since that time.

Mike is married to Marnie, has four married children, and four grandchildren. He enjoys most kinds of sport, playing with his grandchildren, and working out daily so that he has the stamina to do so.
