Music

There are many opportunities for music-making. Groups regularly lead the worship in chapel; the chapel music is organised by a student Music Director.  We have different styles of worship including Taize and international liturgies.

There is also a choir (main photo) under the leadeship of John Corrie, our Tutor in Mission, which gathers to sing in special services and events as well as in some regular services.  John is a composer and we are delighted that he often writes pieces for the choir to sing.

Trinity groups also lead services in context and placement churches, and they may have opportunities for more creative involvement in local music, such as the community choir of adults and children formed and trained by Trinity students in the Woodbridge villages, which performed Graham Kendrick's worship musical 'Crown Him'.

Our recent 'Trinity's Got Talent', held at the end of the academic year, revealed a hidden depths of musical abilitites in styles ranging from sixteenth-century madrigals through 50s Chuck Berry to 21st-century songs.
