New Testament scholar visits Trinity

20 July 2010
Trinity was honoured to have a visit last week from Dr Seyoon Kim (front centre in photo), Professor of New Testament at Fuller Theological Seminar in California. Dr Kim, who did his doctoral studies under F.F. Bruce at Manchester University, is a well known writer on Jesus and Paul and New Testament Christology. Two of his most recent books are How Are We to Read the New Testament? and Christ and Caesar: The Gospel and the Empire in the Writings of Paul and Luke.
He led a special vacation seminar on Romans for postgraduate students and others and took the opportunity to meet Trinity's Korean students (in the photo with members of Trinity faculty). Trinity has a regular programme of postgraduate seminars in term time aimed especially at research students; we have over 60 students studying for postgraduate research degrees.
