Open Learning at resources exhibition

20 May 2009
For the first time Trinity took a (very) small stand at the Christian Resources Exhibition which has recently finished at Sandown Park, London.
It was a good opportunity to promote our new Open Learning at Trinity programme which will provide courses for church members to study in their own area, at their own pace, with the help of local tutors and supported by a group.
Trinity's new faculty member, Dr David Ball, who will be in charge of Open Learning at Trinity, was on the Trinity stand and was pleased to meet those interested in our new programme, as well as Trinity alumni who came to make themselves known. He joins us officially in July, but he is already dealing with a steady stream of enquiries about Open Learning. We expect to offer open learning courses from October.
There will be an introductory day in Trinity on 3 October, with a taster session for prospective Open Learning at Trinity students, and a session for those interested in tutoring a course. There will also be a chance to hear more about Open Learning during our summer celebrations in June.
