Pigs were the theme of a special lunch in Trinity College today when Jeanette Sears' book Pig's Progress (Piquant Editions) was launched. Pork, sausages and bubble and squeak were on the menu, with plates of pig-shaped sweets and pink pig biscuits.

'A Pilgrim's Progress with animals' is how Jeanette Sears describes the book, which was written with the aim of making Christian theology and teaching accessible to young people. She has used the material with youth groups for many years.

Jeanette, who teaches doctrine at Trinity,  was interviewed during lunch by Knut Heim and then signed copies for college members.  The book is illustrated by Jeanette's good friend Adela Slomski; they became Christians at same camp at the age of 11. Jeanette's hope is that the book will be used to bring other young people to faith in jesus Christ.
