Trinity principal in India

17 February 2010
The Trinity principal, Canon George Kovoor, is currently in Bangalore where he is visiting a leading theological college and preaching in the cathedral.
In the South Asia Institute of Advanced Christian Studies (SAIACS), a college for postgraduate studies, George Kovoor spoke on 'Leadership: the Challenge and the Opportunities' and spent time with the principal, Dr Ian Payne (right in the photo above), and the faculty.
Our next World Church Fellow, Dr Atul Aghamkar, a specialist in urban mission, is on the staff of SAICS. He hopes to join us at Trinity in March at the first resident in our new Centre for World Christianity, Henry Martyn House.
We will also welcome Kiyeho, a doctoral student from SAIACS who is spending time at Trinity as part of his training as a future SAIACS faculty member. He is a Naga tribesman from north-east India.
George Kovoor also preached at St Mark's Cathedral and at the Bethany Fellowship in Bangalore.
Canon George Kovoor is in Bangalore until Saturday 20 February. Anyone who is interested to meet him to talk about study at Trinity can contact him on his cell phone 9902145869 until 8.00pm on Friday 19 February.
