Principal takes part in Singapore centenary

26 May 2009
The Trinity Principal Revd Canon George Kovoor is in Singapore where he is taking part in a programme of events to celebrate the centenary of the Diocese of Singapore.
He was the main speaker at an evangelistic rally, 22-23 May, on 'The Keys to the Good Life' in St Andrew's Cathedral. He is always keen to share his faith and has visited over 80 countries as an evangelist, preacher and teacher. With him are the Executive Director of Trinity, Mr Andrew Lucas, and the Rector of St Aldate's Church, Oxford, Revd Charlie Cleverly, who are joining George Kovoor in ministry.
George Kovoor said: 'We are so grateful for the huge opportunities we have had to bear witness to the Lord's work in our life. It has been a time of rich fellowship, prayer, and ministry opportunities.'
Trinity has strong links with the Diocese of Singapore. The Archbishop of Singapore, the Most Revd John Chew Hiang Chea, is a Trinity graduate and the Dean of St Andrew's Cathedral, Canon Kuan Kim Seng, spent a sabbatical term with us in Trinity last year. George Kovoor has visited Singapore many times.
Anyone from Singapore and East Asia who is interested in studying at Trinity is welcome to contact Canon Kovoor at Peninsula.Excelsior Hotel, Singapore. He will be there 22-28 May.
