Trinity College Principal Canon George Kovoor has recently returned from Sweden, where he has been visiting the Swedish Lutheran Church and talking about Trinity's mission and the training we offer.

The invitation came from a Trinity alumnus, Revd Graham Jarvis,  who is rector of St Mikael in the Örebro deanery of the Swedish Lutheran Church. Last year he brought a delegation of parish clergy from this deanery to visit the college (in the photo; Graham Jarvis is front left). They were excited by what God was doing among us and invited the Principal to go to Sweden to share his vision for mission, our experience of developing context-based training, and the reorganising of our curriculum to achieve our vision for transformational leadership in mission and ministry.

George Kovoor writes: ‘It has been a wonderful experience visiting the Swedish Lutheran Church and learning about her rich history. The Gospel came to Sweden from Germany and England. I have visited a palace, parish churches, cathedrals, universities, a theological college and a hospital. I have spoken to health professionals, social workers, civil servants, musicians, bishops, clergy, church bureaucrats, academics, students and lay people about the need of a new evangelisation of Europe.'
