Space for quiet

Silence is kept as an outward and inward sign of our listening to God. On Wednesday mornings, after chapel, there is a period of silence throughout the college. This provides space within the working week to pray, reflect, and listen to God. It also focuses our minds on the need for worship as the centre of our individual, as well as our corporate discipleship.

Quiet Days

Once a term the college Quiet Day provides space for quiet prayer and reflection on our Christian discipleship. Usually it is led by an outside speaker. In the summer term each Pastoral Group goes away into the surrounding countryside for its own Quiet Day.

Places for quiet

The Oak Chapel in the main building is available for private prayer. There is a 'prayer walk' in the Trinity woods, which includes a small prayer hut.
