Social life
Our social life is what we make it: it changes from year to year with each new intake, depending on people's interest and abilities. So if you come to Trinity you can help to shape our social life - whether it's on the sports field, in music, dressing up to raise money for charity, or eating curry!
College groups, including Pastoral Groups, organise social events for themselves, and a social committee runs a college programme each year. Recent activities have included a Christmas revue, a choir, and end-of-year themed parties. (The photo shows the 'global village' barbecue which produced many not-too-authentic national costumes; the faculty, helped by a few students, took on a student team in a tug-o'-war.)
Services in chapel give scope for those with musical talents - or you can join others to play music infomally. (Our end-of-year 'Trinity's Got Talent' revealed the community's musical abilities in wide range of styles!)
Connect, the spouses' group, also organises plenty of social activities.
Exercise and sport
Our Trinity Tigers football team takes part in the University football league. (They were top of their group in the league at the end of the 2009-10 season.) Our students are involved in various other sports, depending on their interests and abilities.
We have a games room with table tennis and snooker, and croquet and volley ball can be played in the grounds. We have a lovely nine-acre campus with lawns and woodland, and we are very near the Downs, an extensive area which is ideal for running, walking, flying kites or kicking a ball around.
Bristol and beyond...
There is plenty to do in Bristol and we are also within easy reach of a lot of interesting places. Go to the Living in Bristol page to find out more...
