Spiritual life

Training for Christian service at Trinity will mean more than just gaining knowledge and practical experience: our vocation is to grow as people of God, and at Trinity we will help you to develop patterns of spiritual life that will be foundational for lifelong discipleship.

We do this through

  • Regular worship together
  • Pastoral Groups of about 10 students who meet together weekly with a tutor and help to lead services
  • Regular individual meetings with Pastoral Group tutors
  • A fortnightly Spirituality Course
  • An hour of silence after Wednesday morning chapel providing space in the working week to reflect, pray and listen to God
  • Providing a prayer walk in the quiet of the grounds
  • A termly college Quiet Day, taking different forms
  • Individual support from our Chaplains, Revd Dr Ron and Mrs Patty Jackson, and Revd Yong Ho Jeon our International Chaplain
  • Connect, our support group for student spouses.
