Trinity College Association

The Trinity College Association is the means by which friends and students of college can have a continuing link with Trinity, and be involved in its affairs, its government and its decisions. Trinity College is a company limited by guarantee, and the Association members form the membership of the company. They have the right to attend General Meetings; to vote on resolutions; to stand for election and to vote for members of college Council; to receive the accounts; and to receive mailing bringing them up to date on college affairs.

The college Council consists of six members elected by the Association, a nominee from Crosslinks and from CPAS, the college Principal, and up to five co-opted members. The election, which is conducted by proportional representation, is held every four years by means of a postal vote in which all Association members take part.

Members of the Association pledge themselves to forward the work of the Association in three ways; by prayer; personal action and financial support. Each member promises to make an annual donation to Trinity of not less than £10 (or £5 in the case of overseas missionaries, or students of college who have left within the previous three years).

By joining the Association you share vitally in the task of the church of God acting through Trinity to train and equip its future ministers.
