Trinity's two New Testament tutors have been honoured by the University of Bristol.

Revd Dr John Nolland, former Vice-Principal and now Academic Dean (above, left, with Trinity's Principal Revd Canon George Kovoor), has been awarded the title Visiting Professor in acknowledgement of his many years' service in teaching, administration, research and writing. Revd Dr David Wenham, Vice-Principal, who joined the staff two years ago, has been awarded the title Research Fellow (the equivalent of Reader).

The awards were made on 6 June at Trinity's Valedictory Service in St Mary's Church, Stoke Bishop by Professor Gavin D'Costa, Professor of Christian Theology in the University's Department of Theology and Religious Studies. He paid tribute to Trinity's 'incredible standards'.

'It is an awesome honour for the college', said Trinity's Principal Revd Canon George Kovoor.
